Arcadia has been appointed Principal Architect for Nasma Residences, the newest large-scale residential development in Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates. Arcadia will be responsible for end-to-end architecture and design services and will manage all the sub-consultants on the project. The company has already executed the full range of design and detailing for Nasma Residences, on behalf of developer ARADA. Spearheaded by Arcadia’s Head of Architecture in the UAE, Elie Mrad, the design of more than 800 contemporary residential properties commenced in December 2016.
Nasma Residences will offer a best-in-class living experience across a choice of two bedroom townhouses, three and four bedroom semi-detached villas, and five bedroom signature villas. The aesthetically designed homes marry form and function and are planned to be built with careful workmanship to ensure quality delivery, ranging in size from 1,500 sq. ft. to 3,500 sq. ft. The development will expand over 5,000,000 sq. ft. of land area carefully planned to ensure a balance between living areas and community facilities.
The newly conceptualized community will be anchored by four community offerings: a 13 acre lushly-landscaped park with cycling and jogging tracks and large play areas; a multipurpose community center with club house offering sports and recreation facilities; children’s nursery and full-service medical clinic; an international school; and a retail mall offering a large-scale anchor shopping experience for day-to-day and specialty needs and a range of casual dining experiences.
